Sew that the world would know...
Our biggest passion is to see others put their hope and trust in Christ. God has set the nations in our heart and has blessed us over the years to travel to many nations on missions trips. Through that, we felt the desire to adopt! We just finalized our adoption of two sweet boys from Africa and a surprise little girl domestically: hence the name Adopting Nations.
My grandma taught me at a young age how to sew and I love the idea that, even though she isn't with me physically, her legacy lives on through my sewing and helped to bring her great-grandchildren home. I love fabrics, especially ones I find internationally like batiks, and I love the creative process as well. I sew anything my heart can dream up but mostly home decor items such as pillowcases, blankets, tote bags, and baby items. Every item in my store is designed from scratch, and sewn by hand by me. No outsourcing or shortcuts here! Even the labels are hand-stamped and can be customized for custom orders!
Now that our babies are all under one roof, I want to use the gift of sewing that He has given me to continue to bring the good news of Christ to others as well as support other adoptive families. It is my hope that people will be encouraged by the story of our journey to trust God more in their own adoption journey or whatever it is that they are believing for. 100% of the proceeds (yup, all of it) from my store will benefit other waiting families as well as missions work in the nations! Be sure to check out the featured family of the month, to which 20% is directly given to their costs, and follow along for news about what is happening with our partners worldwide! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your support!
